Meet the Team!

Hello, my name is Clary Torres. I am the Director and Founder of International Home Education/IHE. I home schooled my son during his middle and high school years, Ezekiel’s personal growth, confidence and academic success led him to setting solid goals for his future, many he has already achieved and others he is currently pursuing. My son’s transformation not only inspired me to become an advocate for home schooling it created a desire within me to "BE" that resource to help other parents see the success and academic achievement of their own children. I founded IHE to give parents who desire to home school their children the opportunity to do so. I also serve as Academic Coach and Teacher here at IHE.
As an Educator I worked with middle and high school students, many who struggled with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD and anxieties. At IHE we can customize learning programs to help young people who struggle to learn new ways to become successful students. As a believer in lifelong learning, I highly value Education. It changes lives for the better. Personally, I have seen how education can positively impact a young person’s life and open doors to opportunity. It is my passion to help transform as many lives as possible this includes students and parents, When our children do well, we are all better for it. At IHE we work together to promote success and achievement through a good education.

My name is Jeremiah Gilbert. I graduated from UCF with a Bachler Degree in Psychology and Business. I'm the Math tutor for High School and College students. I understand that Math is not an easy subject for many people and not everyone learns the same way. My experience working with students with learning difficulties have given me the skills to simplify Math specifically in the way the students learn. I look forward to helping IHE students stay ahead and excel to the fullest potential by broadening math concepts and skills.

My name is Karina Carbajal, I’m currently teacher/tutor for IHE. During my time working as a volunteer & Mentor for Americorps, I realized just how much I enjoyed helping students out and ensuring the students were not only well taken care of, but that their experience was a positive one with me. I have many years of experience working with students from ages 2-18 years of age and Substituting for teachers from different schools. I’m excited to be bringing the commitment and enthusiasm to this homeschool program.

Hello my name is Dominick Notare, I graduated from Academy of Art University with a Masters Degree in Photography. Since graduating I assisted my family in building a fundraising team for GIST cancer research in honor of my uncle who was diagnosed with the disease in 2008 and is surviving today. This endeavor as well as many years working in sales and my background in the arts, gave me the tools I need for fundraising, marketing and event planning. I have a passion for the arts and I want to pass my knowledge and skills to the next generation of young artists.
