Clary Torres, Director
Hello, my name is Clary Torres. I am the Director and Founder of International Home Education/IHE. I homeschooled my son during his middle and high school years, My son's personal growth, confidence, and academic success led him to set solid goals for his future, many he has already achieved and others he is currently pursuing. My son’s transformation not only inspired me to become an advocate for homeschooling, but it also created a desire within me to "BE" that resource to help other parents see the success and academic achievement of their own children. I founded IHE to give parents who desire to homeschool their children the opportunity to do so. I also serve as an Academic Coach and Teacher here at IHE.
As an Educator I worked with middle and high school students, many of who struggled with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, and anxieties. At IHE we can customize learning programs to help young people who struggle to learn new ways to become successful students. As a believer in lifelong learning, I highly value Education. It changes lives for the better. Personally, I have seen how education can positively impact a young person’s life and open doors to opportunity. It is my passion to help transform as many lives as possible; this includes students and parents, When our children do well, we are all better for it. At IHE we work together to promote success and achievement through good education and a positive mindset.

Karina Carbajal

Hello everyone, my name is Mrs. Carbajal and I'll be your child's Homeschool Teacher/Academic Coach. I have experience working with kids, from ages 1-13. It will be my first year as a Teacher at International Home Education, but I have previously worked as a tutor for IHE. I've always known I wanted to be a Superhero. It's why I became a teacher. To help kids who need help in their education, who want or need a great leader to look up to, and for them to feel safe to be themselves.
When I'm not working, I love to watch movies, go out with my family, take pictures, and just relax. One thing I love most is reading I love to read all kinds of books, but mostly thriller and suspense books. Me, I go into this adventurous journey when I read. It's why I can't wait to read together and expose your little ones to lots of new reading adventures!
I'm very excited to help your child learn and for all of us to grow together! This is going to be so much fun!
Jessenia Martin, Homeschool Teacher, Florida Certified
Hello there, my name is Jessenia Martin. I am a Florida Certified Educator and specialize in TESOL and Homeschool Education. I have been teaching since 2014, where I have taught in traditional brick-and-mortar schooling and online education as well. I have been homeschooling my own two children since 2015 and it’s the best decision we ever made as a family. I understand the importance of tailoring a child’s education to truly see growth and to see a spark enlighten within them. I have three children and we love to play cards, watch films, and read together. I love learning as much as I love teaching! I am currently teaching myself how to play the piano and speak Italian. I am bilingual I speak, read, and write Spanish fluently, and I also teach my children Spanish during homeschool.

Anton Webb, MD Math, Test Prep Tutor
My name is Anton Webb, MD, and after tutoring students in mathematics for over twenty years, it has been my experience that every student is teachable. While I primarily focus on mathematics for either coursework or test prep, my background includes studying medicine, economics, chemistry, and biology. In my spare time, I love gardening, biking, hiking, or trying new recipes.
Yocheved Steiner
Math Tutor
Hi there, my name is Yocheved Steiner and I have been teaching and tutoring for the past 4 years. I began tutoring in math and physics during my physics degree at CUNY Queens College in New York. I have worked with tutoring and teaching centers, at a school for adult refugees, and at a high school semester abroad program. During the pandemic, I transitioned to the online learning environment and quickly mastered the ins and out of online learning. I love that I can make a real difference in my student's lives by helping them understand the material and grow their confidence. As a tutor and teacher, I work to create a safe, easygoing, and fun environment for students to learn. I am looking forward to meeting and working with you in our first session!
